Getting from Your Hotel to Sarang Church

A. Breakfast
  • Breakfast will be served at hotels from October 27 to November 1.
  • Just tell the hotel staff your room number to get in.
B. Traveling to Church
  • Aim to arrive by 7:45am.
  • Your hotel or national group will have a leader to guide you, and volunteers will help out on the first morning.
  • Check which church entrance you should use before you go.
C. Using the Subway
  • You’ll need a T-money card for subway rides—cash or credit cards don’t work on the subway.
  • The nearest subway station to Sarang Church is Seocho Station (Line 2).
  • Use Exit 3; the church is right there on the right side, connected directly to the plaza.
  • If you get on the subway going the wrong way, just get off at the next stop, cross over to the other platform, and catch the train back the right way.
  • Remember your hotel’s subway exit number to make your return easy.
D. About Your T-money Transportation Card
  • We’ll give each participant a T-money card loaded with 56,000 KRW to cover your travel during the Assembly.
  • Keep an eye on your balance.
  • If you have less than 20,000 KRW left, you can get a refund before leaving Korea at convenience stores in Incheon Airport (note a 500 KRW refund fee).
  • You can top up your card with cash only (no credit cards) here in Korea.
  • The T-money card also works at some convenience stores and restaurants.
  • Please keep your card safe—it can’t be replaced if lost. If you do lose it, you can buy a new one at convenience stores (cash only).
